Martin said it is an important time for distributors and publishers to be in touch with developers at this stage to have something new to present to retailers to ensure titles get sell through. It is also important with respect to slippage; Martin referred to Chris' discussion of game development and said it was "one of the best things he had seen from the developers" point of view as agile development and checking of code means slippage can be more controlled. "Slippage of months and months and

months can cause you problems particularly in the next gen change over period" said Martin.

Finally, Martin said "bottom line, next gen is coming, who do I think is going to win? ... I like PC... ;)".

A Q&A session followed and the audience also heard a short pre-recorded interview with Jay Moore of Garage Games, speaking about their Marble Blast Ultra game recently released through Xbox 360 Live Arcade.
